There are hundreds of domestic MLSs, and many more thousands of firm- and agent-websites seeking to connect. Today's real estate platforms are classical, three-tier applications with a frontend, server and database. The frontend displays real estate data. The backend (comprised of the server and database) stores it.
The problem is that these traditional systems operate in isolated environments, making the exchange of data difficult.
Imbrex takes a different approach to real estate data dissemination. We replace the server and database with open technologies that include the blockchain. By building on systems that are akin to public utilities, imbrex establishes a new method for data portability, where agents, firms and MLSs can easily migrate information between systems and provide quality listing data to buyers. Imbrex does not take ownership of your data, you control how it's shared. This decentralized architecture results in significantly lower costs and true connectivity.
Engine that packages, secures and disseminates real estate data. The Imbrexer generates an Owner Key, giving the user full control of their data. The Owner Key is analogous to a house key: Locks/Unlocks access to the data.
Fronted API that delivers the data in readable form. The Librexer is the padlock on the front door: Grants access.
Frontend application that displays real estate data and provides Firms and MLSs (imbrex Enterprise users) the ability to feed large subsets of data through the Imbrexer.
will gain access to a marketplace of real estate data including hyperlocal, community-sourced spam and comparable-property curation.
will engage with the Imbrexer via the imbrex platform adding their listings individually.
will access the Imbrexer via the Enterprise API.
Everyone will gain global exposure and will maintain ownership of their data.
On imbrex, buyers worldwide can confidently search hyperlocal, user-curated, and verified global data.
The imbrex network is designed for universal, global reach and provides the interoperability and flexibility needed to migrate your data between systems (your website, imbrex, MLSs, CRMs, and third-party applications).
Transaction participants can utilize imbrex's Escrow Commons™ to safely and securely transact real estate*. Escrow Commons uses smart contracts for the exchange of transactional documents, deposits and sale proceeds. The parties can track in real time which party has uploaded what documents, ensuring the process is always advancing forward. The data and funds are never held, or seen, by imbrex. Participants set terms, control access and funds.
At imbrex, agents own their listing page, not a third-party portal. Buyers connect directly with listing agents, and agents gets the search-result credit by backlinking to their own page or website. They also get global exposure and the opportunity to move data effortlessly between their website, imbrex, MLSs, and CRM systems.

The participants set the terms, access and how the funds will be disseminated.
The imbrex network provides an open, global environment for data exchange, while providing security directly to its users. Imbrex does not store your data. At imbrex, MLSs can selectively push listing data through imbrex's Enterprise API. It will generate an Owner Key that controls access to your data. MLSs can exchange Owner Keys, giving them the ability to populate (not store) each other's data.
